“ The food, especially, the Pastalitos, was perfect. Hit the spot. Service was friendly. Table area needed a good cleaning, but other than that, definitely planning on going back. ”
“ The food is delicious and reasonably priced. There is an English/Spanish sign posted telling patrons to mention food allergies. I asked what type of oil the food is fried in because of a peanut allergy. I am an English language speaker only so I was not understood, I asked for an English speaker. When I asked again she did not know the type of oil. It took a little while to determine the oil is soy. There is not a menu or the price of the food posted. When it's time to pay for the food you don't know the cost of the individual items. That can be a problem to a person not familiar with the choices. That would be helpful in determining what to order. It's not a large establishment. When it's busy there it's extremely crowded. The food is worth the wait. ”
“ Steak and rice is very good the little empanadas treat are also very good chicharron and plantanos are pretty good too ”
“ Craving Dominican food, my sister and I wanted to make another trip. We shared a plate of the yellow rice and braised oxtail. For drinks, my sister got the orange soda while I just had a bottle of water. We also shared a single serving of flan. They charged us about $18, however I feel as though it would not have cost as much for other patrons who speak Spanish. Either way, the food was good but very salty. I would suggest getting plain white rice with the oxtail sauce contains a lot of flavor already. Recommended always! ”
“ Mofongo is a big deal in the spanish speaking islands of the Caribbean and this review is for the Mofongo here. They make a smooth garlicky version here with plenty of chicharron meat inside on a bed of lettuce and a side of beef stew sauce it is a dreamy dish and a flavor bomb. PS Mofongo are deep fried pieces of green plantain mashed with garlic, salt, chicken broth and pork crackling (chicharron). ”
